Gas-liquid separators are designed to remove entrained droplets and particles from a gaseous process. We offer two different types of gas-liquid separators: pressure vessels installed within process piping and exhaust heads installed at the end of a pipeline where the process gas is vented to atmosphere.
All of our separators are sized to remove entrained droplets and particles larger than 10 microns with 99% efficiency. Our centrifugal separators feature a maintenance-free design with no moving parts, ensuring long-term reliability and reduced operational costs. Centrifugal separators have an infinite turndown capability which is critical for start-up, shut-down and upset conditions.
Centrifugal separators create a powerful vortex within the separator body propelling droplets and particles larger than 10 microns to the vessel wall and only the dry gas and droplets smaller than 10 microns enter the low velocity (center) of the vortex and pass through the discharge nozzle. Our gas-liquid separators are a fully welded design, considered self-cleaning and require zero maintenance. The physical size of the separator is determined by the volume of gas and liquid to be processed.
Our website provides an overview about our separator designs and related accessories along with design tools to estimate the proper separator size. We reply to your emailed inquiries very quickly, almost certainly the same business day. Please also call us during business hours for immediate assistance.
We published an article that provides an in-depth overview of our products entitled: Gas/Liquid Separators Explained: Design and Capabilities of gas/liquid separators. Our article Sizing Gas/Liquid Separators When Rate of Entrained Liquid is the Driving Factor groups separator models by their liquid removal capacity with clickable pictures linked to their datasheets.
